Introducing: Truly Latency-Free Remote Music Collaboration
Today, numerous solutions exist for recording singers and instrumentalists over the Internet, with providers touting low-latency capabilities. However, maintaining a constant recording latency under 100 milliseconds in remote sessions is technically unachievable. When a singer is recorded directly in a studio, typical recording latency ranges between 2 and 10 milliseconds. With Ech technology, recording studios can stream the instrumentals/backing tracks to musicians, whose signals return in perfect timing, allowing for recordings to be captured without disruptive latency.

Technology Derived from Astronomy and the Military
ECHOWARP employs a time-tested and highly precise principle to compensate for the natural latencies that occur in recording. It’s akin to bending time itself. The backing tracks to which a musician is to record are streamed to them before being played back in the recording studio. Both elements converge perfectly in time, allowing direct recording and real-time assessment by sound engineers, producers, and clients.
Use Your Familiar DAW and Any Audio-Conferencing or Remote-Recording Platform
ECHOWARP is compatible with all DAWs that support VST3 and Audio Units. Support for AAX and CLAP plugin formats will be provided soon after the initial release. Continue using your preferred solution to stream audio over the Internet to any location. ECHOWARP eliminates the latency that has previously limited far-end remote music recording.
Three Plugins and Comprehensive Service
ECHOWARP consists of three plugins—Transmitter, Receiver, and Advancer—that work together to permanently compensate for latency. Additionally, our support team is here to help you find the optimal overall solution for your remote-recording needs. We provide advice via email and phone on the best streaming service to use and how to set up reliable and clear routing on your computer and in your studio, enabling you to record nearly any artist worldwide without restrictions.
Frequently Asked Questions
ECHOWARP consists of three plugins: Transmitter, Receiver, and Advancer. Insert the Transmitter on the bus or group you are sending to the remote musician and the Receiver on the input you are receiving from the musician. Insert the Advancer on the track or bus/group containing the material to be recorded to, typically an instrumental. The three plugins communicate with each other to enable seamless recording without further input from you.
ECHOWARP is being developed for VST3, Audio Unit, AAX, and CLAP plugin formats. This ensures compatibility with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo, FL Studio, Reaper, and Bitwig Studio.
While existing solutions have achieved latencies around 100 milliseconds, this is often too much for recordings that need to be tightly synchronized with music, as if the singer or instrumentalist were right in the studio. ECHOWARP steps in here, "cheating" physics to reduce this remaining latency to nearly zero.
ECHOWARP will be available for a one-time price of €190. We do not offer a subscription model. ECHOWARP will continuously evolve, and all updates will be provided free of charge to license holders.
An ECHOWARP license can be used on up to two computers simultaneously.
Since ECHOWARP is inherently designed to be used while online, we have opted for a copy protection scheme that requires a permanent Internet connection. This also ensures you keep track of your active licenses.
